-All of our foreman and service techs have
30 hours of OSHA training.
-Every apprentice has a minimum of 10 hours
of OSHA training.
-We conduct weekly “Toolbox Talks” at all of
our jobs, which remind our employees to keep safety at the forefront.
-We have, and follow, a lockout/tagout policy
to de-energize electrical equipment.
-All of our job foreman have a copy of our
Safety Manual and our Hazardous Communications Manual.
-We have a yearly High-Voltage demonstration
at our shop by Cinergy.
-We have mandatory drug screenings, at the
time of hire, as well as random tests.
-We received the IEC’s SPARK Certificate in
2003 for superior achievement in our Safety Program Awareness and Retention
Kit.
-Every month, we have a company-wide meeting
where we get together to inform employees of recent jobs and developments.
We also select an “Employee of the Month” to recognize superior performance.
-We offer profit-sharing, retirement plans,
long and short term disability insurance, a cafeteria plan, and other incentives
to help keep our employees motivated.
